What information do we collect?
We do not collect any personally indentifiable information from the visitors to our website expect that which is volunteered by you when you fill in an online form.
What do we do with the information you give us?
If you register with us to receive our email newsletter or fill in any survey forms or donation forms, we keep a record of the personal information you provide to send you our e-newsletter. Occasionally, we will also send you other updates on our work, Emmaus Sheffield appeals or direct mail that we feel may be of interest to you.
If you decide at any time you no longer want Emmaus Sheffield to contact you, you can get in touch with us to ask that we remove your details from our database.
We will never share your information with others.
Emmaus Sheffield does not sell or rent user information to anyone. It will only be used by Emmaus Sheffield to contact you.
These pieces of information are used to improve services for you through, for example:
- enabling a service to recognise your device so you don’t have to give the same information several times during one task
- recognising that you may already have given a username and password so you don’t need to do it for every web page requested
- measuring how many people are using services, so they can be made easier to use and there’s enough capacity to ensure they are fast
